I just bought a Universal electric stove that came from the Peacock Inn in Mayville while I was at the Salamanca Antique Mall this weekend. It is small with two electric burners and a stove/broiler combination. I have been trying to find some information on it but have not been successful. Since it is so small I was imagining that it might have been used in the diningroom for coffee and perhaps keeping rolls warm. I am not even sure of the year but I would guess it is possibly 1940's era. Do you remember any such thing?

The fresh herbs really add flavor to a dish and I just love corn beef seasoned well. he horseradish sauce sound good I never thought to eat horseradish with my corn beef and cabbage. I make my own homemade horseradish which is so much more potent than what you purchase in the store. It is made from the same root my grandfather started over 150 years ago!
