Metal-Safe Cleaner, for SM-50, Flake & Nugget ice machines, 16 oz bottle, (case of 12). Manitowoc is introducing a new metal safe cleaner (#000000084) for the Flake/Chiplet/Nugget & SM Ice Machines. The new metal safe cleaner (#000000084) is a weaker based formula that must be used on Flake, Chiplet, Nugget (bronze evaporator) & SM (tin plated evaporator) machines, it is not approved for use in any other ice machines or with the AuCS accessories. The Manitowocs original cleaner (#94-0546-3) cannot be used on the Flake/Chiplet/Nugget or SM machines because repeat / concentrated usage will damage the evaporator. If the wrong cleaner is used and damage occurs the damage is not covered under warranty. The sanitizer (#94-0565-3) will stay the same for all ice machines.
