Five open burners, each with 32,000 BTU output, set this 36" gas range apart from other ranges. Each burner has an adjustable pilot for instant ignition. The cast iron continuous top grates fit together so seamlessly that they appear to be one piece, but they're actually separate and can be lifted off individually for cleaning. The continuous design allows you to slide pots from one burner to another without lifting, tipping or spilling. Obviously, this is the safer way to move pots and pans, but it's also the way that puts the least amount of stress on the body of the chef who's been standing in front of the range for the whole shift. There's a full width drip-tray to catch spills, and the knobs are die-cast, in polished black satin.
The standard oven
is 26-1/2"W, with one rack and two rack positions. Its output is 27,000 BTUs. Additional racks are available for purchase. The entire range, including burners, front, sides and island back trim, are constructed of stainless steel and sits on 6" chrome plated legs with adjustable feet. Casters are sold separately.
