Steaming is known for being the healthy, protective way to cook, while convection cooking is known for it's speed. Together, the two are much greater than the sum of their parts. Constructed of stainless steel, this Prodigi Classic Gas Combination Oven/Steamer accommodates 10 half size sheet pans and 11 full size hotel pans. Along that same vein of protecting you from common cooking hazards, SafeVent, automatic steam ventilation shortly prior to the end of the cooking cycle, has been added as well. The boiler has been eliminated from these ovens, relieving you of the maintenance, and associated time, cost and annoyance of it, which comes alongside a boiler. Because it requires zero clearance, space efficiency is another way the Prodigi streamlines kitchen operation. Adjustable legs support it. Steam, Convection, and Combination are the three cooking modes. Because of EcoSmart technology, another way your Prodigi improves the running of your kitchen is in lowering your energy costs by using less water and electricity during the cooking and cleaning cycles.
