This Karamel King cooker produces up to 20 gallons of irresistible caramel corn.  The cast aluminum kettle has a guard at the top to prevent spills.  Popped corn is added to the kettle, along with a 22 oz packet of Gold Medal Caramel, 16 cups of sugar (either brown or white) and 32 to 48 cups of water, depending on how thick you want your caramel to be.  Butter is optional.  The machine is then turned on, and the dual motor, which can work with or without heat, and spins augers, heats the caramel to 280F, which is the temperature needed for it to heat properly.  Once the appropriate temperature is reached, a buzzer sounds to let you know the heater has been turned off, but the augers are still mixing your corn.  If the temperature drops too low, the heat turns back on.  A timer lets you know when your corn has finished mixing and you then dump it into the pan available with this set up.  You will need to continue mixing the corn until it cools to ensure that it doesn't stick together.  Voila!  A simple favorite, ready to be served.
