Frozen drinks and desserts are always popular, and now they can be more quickly and easily served with this self-contained Quickchiller Blast Chiller. It's a stainless steel unit which is insulated with non-CFC polyurethane foam. It arrives with a 9 pan slide in rack. Its capacity is 60 lbs, with 5 full size hotel pans and 10 full size sheet pans. The stainless steel work surface/countertop has a complimenting stainless steel back splash. The door, which has a recessed pull handle, seals tightly with the help of a magnetic gasket. Five different chilling modes are offered. They are Quick-Freeze, Soft-Chill for less dense products, Hard-Chill for more dense products, Holding and Defrost. The temperature range of the chiller is -10 to 40F. Even hot foods can be quickly and safely chilled or frozen. Chilled foods may be stored up to 5 days, which eliminates some prep time and lowers labor costs. A temperature probe is supplied with this model to assure internal temperatures of products. The chiller and its different modes are operated from a touch screen control, which also manages the the programming of up to 20 recipes. A USB port on the chiller allows for accessing HACCP data and recipes.
