This slicer is easy to use and easy to clean. It quickly disassembles without the use of tools which makes cleaning easy. The manual feed has a ribbed, non-smear chute set at a 30 degree angle. It features a 9" blade which can be sharpened on the dual action knife sharpener. When not in use, the stone edge automatically returns to its original position so it's out of the way.
