Large, hectic cafeterias and restaurants rely on certain favorites, such as rolls or baked potatoes, as a part of most their meals. Since so many of these are sold every day, they must be cooked in large quantities, but would be terrible if they were served cold. That's where Warming Drawers come into the picture. This narrow, 3 drawer unit is constructed of 20 gauge stainless steel, with no exposed heating elements, so it's simple to clean, and you don't risk burning your hand. Because it's a narrow model, about 8 inch of space is saved, and that can be crucial in a crowded work space. Each drawer has a capacity of 20 lbs, and space to hold 50 rolls or 34 baked potatoes. Halo Heat is employed to surround your foods with gentle warmth without drying it. No water is added to accomplish this. These units are made to be stackable, and have 4 projections on the corners of the top of the piece, to facilitate that. Still, they can be built into counters or cabinets, and a trim kit is available to make the fit seamless. Or, if you prefer, they can be given mobility with 3 inch casters, or they can remain in place on adjustable legs. There's a power switch, and an indicator light to remind you that the drawers are heated. There are up-and-down arrows for setting or adjusting the temperature with its 60-200F range. There's also a key which operates the digital temperature display, so you'll know exactly how warm an environment exists within the drawer.
