This Quickchiller Blast Chiller is Alto-Shaam's smallest undercounter blast chiller. It's self contained and fits on countertops as well as under them. It's built from stainless steel and insulated with non-CFC polyurethane foam insulation. It uses R-404A refrigerant. The door, which has a recessed pull handle, is sealed with a magnetic gasket. Its capacity is 36 lbs, or 3 full size hotel pans. The 5 chill modes include Quick Freeze, Soft-chill for less dense items,. Hard-chill for more dense items, Holding, and automatic defrost. The overall temperature range of the chiller is -10 to 40F. There's a temperature probe included for determining the internal temperature of your foods. A touch screen control operates the chiller and allows for the storing of up to 20 recipes, which can be downloaded using the USB port on the unit.
