For delis or restaurants or sandwich shops that require a great deal of meat and cheese sliced daily, the Berkel X13 Manual Gravity Feed Slicer breezes through food effortlessly and powerfully. With its half-horsepower motor and 13 inch polished stainless steel knife, this commercial slicer can be powered all day for continuous cutting without taking a rest. And the meats and cheeses you do produce are skillfully slivered. An index knob located on the unit's base allows for variable pitch: the operator can adjust product thickness between paper-thin and 1-5/16 thick. After setting thickness, your cold cuts will see an incredible consistency.
The Berkel X13 was designed with ease of use in mind. The 45° angled stage slides meat or cheese into the blade with minimal effort. And the Knife Sharpener, with its removable, two stone, dual action design, provides the perfect edge and is easy to clean. Finally, the Gauge Plate Interlock is intuitively designed with auto-lock features. This unit is NSF-Certified, ETL-Listed, CSA-Listed, and includes a 1-year parts, labor, and transportation warranty.
