Sandwich Prep Tables are terrific, because they centralize all the components needed for a specific task in one spot. That's always a convenience, but in a frenzied restaurant kitchen, it's strongly beneficial. The interior and exterior of this 18.3 cubic foot unit are both made of stainless steel, and the work top is made of heavy duty 16 gauge stainless steel. It's surrounded by a covering of 2.5 inch thick polyurethane insulation. The condenser is located in a removable side panel and can be reached very simply for maintenance and cleaning. The system uses R-134A refrigerant. An air defrost system is electrically timed. The doors have rounded corners and recessed handles to create a twenty-first century presentation. Frame perimeter heaters stem the tide of condensation. There's an epoxy coated wire shelf for each of the three sections. The lid for the prep area is covered with 1/2"Deep insulation. A 12 inch x 1/4 inch sanitary cutting board is removable and adjustable. Eighteen sanitary 1/6 size PVC pans are supplied with the unit. The ideal temperature range of 33 to 41F is set and modified by an analog thermostat. The table rests on four casters, and two of them have locking brakes. Everest stands behind the integrity of this product with a 23 year warranty on parts & labor, 5 year warranty on electrical components, and 10 year warranty on the compressor.
