Undercounter Freezers like this one serve two purposes. For one thing, they provide frozen storage, which in this case is a gracious 18.3 cubic feet. Another function is providing a heavy-duty 16 gauge stainless steel countertop. The unit is made of stainless steel, with 2.5 inch of polyurethane insulation. The slide-out condenser is back-mounted and easily accessed for cleaning and repairs. This piece is front-vented, so if you'd prefer, it's well-suited to being built into a counter. Defrosting is electrically timed. The doors are self-closing, with recessed handles and rounded corners. Frame heaters thwart the build-up of condensation. Nine epoxy coated wire shelves, three in each section, are also supplied. The temperature range -10 to 32F is operated with an analog thermostat. Two of the four casters carrying the unit have locking brakes. Everest provides a 3 year warranty on parts & labor, 5 year warranty on electrical components, and 10 year warranty on the compressor.
