Southbend® self-contained freezer bases are expertly crafted to meet the rigorous demands of commercial kitchens, offering a seamless blend of durability and functionality. With a robust stainless steel construction, these freezer bases are available in various sizes, making them compatible with modular sectional range tops. The heavy-duty, self-closing drawers glide effortlessly on stainless steel rollers and provide ample storage for standard 12” x 20” x 4” pans (not included), ensuring ingredients stay cold and easily accessible during peak operations.
Designed with a CFC-free refrigeration system and an expansion valve, these freezer bases deliver rapid temperature recovery and consistent cooling performance. The foamed-in-place CFC-free polyurethane insulation enhances temperature retention, while magnetic door gaskets ensure a tight seal and easy maintenance. Equipped with 6” adjustable legs for leveling, the bases also feature coved interior corners that comply with Standard #7 for effortless cleaning. Additional features include a digital thermostat for precise temperature control, corrosion-resistant mullion coils for even cooling, and a condensate evaporator pan for larger models. Southbend® freezer bases come with a comprehensive warranty: 2 years on operational parts, 5 years on the compressor, and 1 year on labor, providing peace of mind for your investment.
