You can use an electric drop-in Halo Heat Hot Food Well Unit anywhere you have an existing set up with a sneeze guard and an overhead light, or at a prep table where you're plating hot foods. In either setting, you're bringing Halo Heat's ability to keep foods wonderfully warm and fresh without continuing to cook them to your process. Made of stainless steel, it's a tough product which is sized for one 12 inch x 20 inch full size pan, which isn't included. Being 4-3/8 inch deep, it holds pans which are 4 inch deep. It's also thermostatically controlled with a setting range from 1 to 10 and a heat indicator light. The control is attached with a water tight tether to the well, and can be mounted either to a wall or counter-top. No water is added to the unit, so a drain isn't necessary, and steam burns are eliminated. Lime and scale build-up are prevented as well. Based on the design ethic of EcoSmart technology, it's an efficient and environmentally friendly product.
