Compact and easily added anywhere, the Hot Carving Shelf with 2 infrared lamps is also excellently made, and even meets strict marine standards. Despite its size, it's capable of holding a 70 lb. roast. The Halo Heat carving surface is USDA-listed and has a recessed gravy lane for the run-off of drippings. A removable sneeze guard is easily cleaned and adds to the elegance of the piece. The heating surface is controlled by switch with three settings of LOW/MEDIUM/HIGH. An indicator light reminds you that the surface is hot. The 250 watt lamps are controlled by an ON/OFF toggle switch. It's built following the mindset of EcoSmart technology, so of course it's an energy-saving device, as well as an environment-saving device.
