This Energy Mizer® Dishwasher, an undercounter type with a sustainer heater, has an instant start and features upper and lower wash arms and a pumped drain. It's capacity is 30 racks per hour. There's also one open rack and one peg rack included. It rests on 4 inch adjustable legs. Low temperature chemical sanitizing, with built-in chemical injectors and primer switches, helps keep your energy use and cost down. All stainless steel construction assures long life and reliable operation. The door opening is 12 1/2 inch high.

    how is the water heated?

    These use a Sustainer Heater to maintain the incoming water temperature even when the unit is not in use so you always have a hot water for the wash cycle. These are not booster heaters.
