Either way, you may add the electric drop-in Halo Heat Hot Food Well Unit to any area with a sneeze guard and overhead light, or to a prep table for plating hot foods. It's made of stainless steel, with a large flange so that it blends seamlessly into the area where it's being used. Sized to fit four 12 inch x 20 inch full size pans, it's also 4-3/8 inch deep, so the pans you'll use with it are 4 inch deep. Water isn't added to the unit, so there's no drain, no steam burns, and no lime or scale build-up. It's thermostatically controlled, with a setting range of 1 to 10, and a heat indicator light. The control can be either flush-mounted on the counter or remotely mounted on the wall. EcoSmart technology provides the ethic and wisdom behind this unit, so it's a conservative consumer of energy and natural resources.
