If you've got an existing counter-top self-serve area with a sneeze guard and overhead lighting, or a prep table for plating hot foods, you're ready to add Halo Heat's careful care of your foods and energy efficiency without necessarily adding a large piece of equipment. The 4-3/8 inch deep stainless steel electric drop-in Halo Heat Hot Food Well Unit can be added to your line up. It's spacious enough for five 12 inch x 20 inch full size pans, but they aren't included. Additionally, it's thermostatically controlled, with a setting range from 1 to 10, and a heat indicator light. The well is attached to the control by a 36 inch long water tight tether, and can be flush mounted to the counter-top. Since water isn't added to the unit, steam burns are stopped, and a drain isn't necessary. Lime and scale build up are thwarted as well. EcoSmart technology is the design ethic behind the line, so it's practical and protective of the environment.
