If you are a food service operator and own a steam table food warmer , then chances are you will find yourself having to remove water from the food warmer. The best way to remove water from a steam table is to first turn off the steam table and allow the water to cool completely. Next place a cart with rollers next to the cooled steam table. You should then place a bucket on top of the cart. Begin scooping out the water with a large scoop (preferably one that is flat-sided). Next you should fill the scoop with water and dump the water into the bucket. You should continue to scoop the water into the bucket until the bucket is filled. After that, roll the cart to your sink and empty the bucket. You should return to the steam table and start the process over again until the steam table is empty. It’s ideal to use a towel to absorb any remaining water inside of the steam table.
The Roundup DFW-100 and DFW-200 deluxe food warmers, manufactured by A.J. Antunes , are great steam food warmers for any commercial kitchen. They produce steam using water for quick heating and reconstituting of food items. These steam table food warmers have a simple push button action that delivers an adjustable spurt of steam. These steam tables eliminate any guesswork and deliver an even amount of steam to the products.
All of the DFW models come equipped with a self-contained water reservoir or direct water hook up. We here at J.E.S. Restaurant Equipment are a proud distributor for A.J. Antunes products.
