Valentine's Day is coming up but there is more to the holiday than just showing a significant other how much you care about them. It's also a time to show the people in your life in general that you appreciate them. Which is why Galentine's Day was born. While some prefer to think of it as a girls' day for those who don't have a significant other when Valentine's Day rolls around, it can also just be a day to celebrate friendship with your closest girl pals, attached or not. Here are some fun Galentine's Day ideas to celebrate with the ladies.
1. Host a potluck-style dinner party at your house. Invite your closest friends and have each one bring their specialty dish.
2. Everyone loves a good pamper session. Gather a few friends and host an at-home spa night, complete with mani-pedis and face masks.
3. Host a bake-off! Have each friend bring a dessert and create voting cards to determine a winner based on the criteria on the cards (taste, texture, presentation, etc.)
4. Go wine tasting. Find a local winery and book a tasting. Make an evening of it by enjoying a nice dinner out before attending the tasting. if wine isn't your thing, try finding somewhere that does beer or whiskey tastings.
5. Have a total ladies' night in and host a viewing party of the newest episode of your favorite TV show. Snacks, drinks, and watching TV makes for a relaxing and fun night in.
