Earlier this week, J.E.S. was paid a visit by one of our representatives from the Holland Grill Company . He brought with him two of Holland’s best selling grills (the Epic and the Wrangler ) to demo some of their unique capabilities and features by cooking a variety of foods for the J.E.S. staff to sample. By the end of the evening, the grills had been used to prepare sausage, bacon, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, chicken, steak, pork, mushrooms, pizza, and even apple pie. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked, and sampling the various items really proved the efficacy of Holland’s unique one-temperature convection grilling design. For those who have recently purchased a Holland grill and aren’t sure what to cook first, I personally recommend pork as a great starting point. Pork can be a tricky meat to prepare on a conventional grill, but the Holland Wrangler made quick and easy work of cooking perfectly tender grilled pork chops. The mushrooms made a great side, as well, and the fact that they were cooked alongside several different types of meat really helped to reinforce the grill’s versatility. Even the apple pie (I had never even considered the possibility of heating up a pie on a grill before) turned out great!
All in all, the evening was a fantastic and convincing demonstration of the grills’ potential. If there is ever any doubt about whether a Holland grill is the right choice for you, there really shouldn’t be. These grills do it all, and they do it very well.
