With a dire concern for our environment becoming an ever-increasing issue, Scotsman, a leading manufacturer in commercial ice makers, is joining forces with Energy Star® and offering rebates up to $500 on energy-efficient Scotsman ice machines.
They are partnering up with other utility companies, such as Duke Energy, across the country and offering a multitude of rebates on several of their Star Energy approved products. Scotsman has more than 50 Energy Star-rated models available. Scotsman Prodigy products use less energy and water than traditional ice machines. These models have optional controls that allow the user to program the type of ice they need, all being more energy-efficient ice cubes.
Most operators can save as much as 20% energy savings or $710 annually by using an Energy Star® ice machines. These products have saved 15% more water and energy than standard model ice machines.
Scotsman has a list of rebates available for each Energy Star-rated products, depending on a state’s utility company, at their website. J.E.S. Restaurant Equipment has several Energy Star-rated Scotsman models in stock.
