Every other Tuesday at JES Restaurant Equipment, we have a sales meeting with our web department and sales staff. This Tuesday, we went over the differences between a radiant and lava rock char broiler. If you aren't sure of the difference --please refer to our blog post about it here. We were all very pleased that Mr. B got in on the action, too. He was busy helping Eric as he explained the various parts of the inside of the Vollrath charbroiler that we had on display. We will all agree that you need to start learning when you are young. Go Mr. B.! Now that the staff has had the chance to ask questions and gain knowledge, we are eager to answer any questions you may have and take more orders.

We also had the discussion of why the quick disconnect on the gas appliance connector (aka gas hose) is very important in a commercial kitchen. Eric and Scott showed us the T&S Brass gas hose HG-4D-48K on the Therma–Tek range that we have in our test kitchen. We clearly understood the importance of having a gas hose with a restraining cable and quick disconnect. Most DHEC departments require that you have your equipment on casters for cleaning purposes and the restraining cable will prevent the equipment from being pulled out so far from the wall that the gas hose is pulled lose from the connection in the wall. You will also be able see the benefits of using a T&S swiveling gas hose connector! Learn how to properly install a gas hose with the video.
We can’t wait to have another sales meeting and share more!! Now ya Cookin!
Thank you,
Vivian Smith, President
