Do not shoot the messenger. I was informed on Thursday that this is "National Grilled Cheese" month, since it was April Fools Day I googled it and sure enough it is. Sounds like a "Krafty" idea to me.

Funny thing was I served a grilled cheese sandwich to Mr. B, our in house food critic, earlier in the week and received my first 5 number rating, and a little grief when the 2nd helping was not as forthcoming as fast as he thought.

So herewith is that recipe, I usually do not name brands, but in this case I make an exception not wanting to compromise a classic.

BW GRILLED CHEESE CLASSIC
Serves: 1      Difficulty Level: caveman could do it      Prep Time: < 1 minute     Ready In: NSE (Not Soon Enough)

INGREDIENTS:
• 2 Slices Earthgrains Natural Wheatberry bread with Honey
• 2 Slices Kraft sharp cheddar deli slices
• Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray, as needed

PROCEDURE:
• Pre-heat electric griddle to 350 degrees
• Spray one side of bread with butter spray, put on griddle butter side down, lay 2 slices of cheese on bread, cover with other slice of bread. Spray with butter spray. When first side is a golden brown flip over and toast 2nd side until cheese is melted to "goo".
• Start the seconds round...

Enjoy,
CHEF PHIL
