Both the icing pen and rolling pen would fit easily into a Christmas stocking. Both of them would be useful favorites of a baker. Drop in a few other small baking-related gifts, and you’ve just won brownie points for creativity and thoughtfulness. You’ve also probably just won brownies. Baking supplies are the gifts that keep on giving.
8. Norpro Bamboo Steamer. It’s healthy and current, and simple enough to allow children to get into the act. Children, by the way, often won’t eat vegetables. 5. Libbey Glass Beer Style & Anchor Hocking Tea glasses (TIE) Either one of these is a terrific choice, depending on the personal style of the recipient. It’s also an awesome gift for anyone who is currently using a microwave that, at this point, is slower than a warm day for heating soup. You know them. They NEED a new microwave, but they aren’t going to BUY a microwave because they already HAVE a microwave. They’ll think you’re forgetful and impractical, but they’ll use the new microwave because it’s a gift. They need you.
3. FF2-Super R & V Cajun Fryer. Men want this. Men who fish want this. Men who are afraid to tell us when the turkey’s dry want this. Men who have seen other men with this want this. It used to be the Bass boat. Now it’s the deep fryer . It’s probably also a great gift for a single woman hoping to marry soon, assuming she already has the Bass boat.
2. Lodge Apple Cast Iron Baking Set. It comes in red or green , and it’s been on more than one list, but it’s cute, and cast iron, which makes it durable, and the people who don’t have it already still want it, so we’re still recommending it. This is the gift with the “awww” factor. At the same time, it’s a practical gift. It works with most color schemes, and apples in the kitchen are a perpetual classic.
1. Intedge Cobbler Apron, Pull-over Style. This one is very nearly flying off the shelves . It’s so well loved because it covers enough to protect whatever you’re wearing underneath it, has side ties to make it completely size-adjustable, and has those handy pockets for keeping up with smaller items that might otherwise disappear on the counter top while you’re cooking. We think it’s priced right to be a gift children can give to parents, grandparents or teachers, and if they truly want to make it one-of-a-kind, they can grab the fabric paint (available at hobby stores, still not breaking their piggy banks) and personalize it.
